WIZIBOAT (ISIN: FR00140047H7 – Mnemonic: MLWIZ) held its Combined General Meeting on August 4, 2023 at 8:30 a.m.
All resolutions were approved by a large majority. The shareholders notably approved the resolutions allowing the immediate completion of a capital increase reserved for BOATING SOLUTIONS, a subsidiary of the BENETEAU Group, in the amount of €1.0 million by issuing 609,248 new shares at a price of €1.641 per shares.
BOATING SOLUTIONS also acquired a block of 244,686 shares at a price of 1.641 euros per share from Prodaly.
Following these operations, BOATING SOLUTIONS holds 74.05% of the capital of
WIZI-BOAT
. The balance is 17.58% owned by Artheleo, controlled by Mr. Pierre-Olivier Bidault Sire, Managing Director of WIZIBOAT, and 8.37% by free float.
In terms of Governance, the General Meeting approved the appointments of Mr. Paul Blanc, VP Boat Club of BOATING SOLUTIONS, and Mr. Olivier Maynard, Deputy General Manager of BOATING SOLUTIONS, as directors. The Board of Directors of
WIZI-BOAT
met after the General Assembly and appointed Paul Blanc, Chairman of the Board of Directors. During this board meeting, Pierre-Olivier Bidault Sire was confirmed as Chief Executive Officer of
WIZI-BOAT
.
Under the aegis of this new governance and with increased financial resources,
WIZI-BOAT
will thus be able to actively resume its development in France and abroad, benefiting from synergies with the entire BENETEAU Group.
