Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty unveils its first gameplay in a nervous trailer

Team Ninja set aside the license nioh for a little while, but clearly hasn’t turned away from its desire to produce Souls-like. The studio has lifted the veil on Wo Long: Fallen Destiny earlier this year, but only through a cinematic trailer that showed no gameplay footage. Koei-Tecmo and the studio are catching up today with a first gamelay trailer unveiled on the occasion of the Gamescom.

More Sekiro than Nioh?

The game therefore presents its first gameplay images, and the least we can say is that nioh is not very far, even if we find a feeling that seems closer to From Software’s games.

If only here no stamina bar will get in the way, and that all the fights will be based on Chinese martial arts with a focus on the speed of the sequences. We can see some sets which are naturally based in China (with a fantastic context), and which will be more open than those found in nioh.

We could suspect it, but the game will be present at the Tokyo Game Show, with a gameplay demo that will be revealed live on Friday, September 16.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is expected for the beginning of the year 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC via Steam. It will also be available on Game Pass day one.
