Now the state act of mourning for Wolfgang Schäuble will follow on January 22, 2024 in the Bundestag.

First, a funeral service will take place in the Berlin Cathedral at 1 p.m. Bundestag President Bärbel Bas opens the memorial hour, which will take place from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to Schäuble’s family, around 1,500 guests from home and abroad are invited.
