In an interview, Wolfgang and Stephanie Stumph give insights into their "harmonious" but sometimes "spirited" family life.

Wolfgang (74) and Stephanie Stumph (36) stood together for years in front of the camera for the ZDF crime series "Stubbe – Von Fall zu Fall". However, especially for Stephanie's career, that was not ideal, as Wolfgang Stumph explains "Bild am Sonntag" in a double interview with daughter Stephanie: "After many years, when Stephanie played in numerous other films, it was still said that it is but the daughter of the Stubbe. That's why we decided that we would break up after the 50th film in 2014. "

"We are very harmonious, but …"

And seven years later? In 2020, ZDF announced that there would be a 52nd case of Stubbe after a successful special – again with the father-daughter team in front of the camera. "Stubbe – Tödliche Hilfe" is to be broadcast on January 30th from 8:15 pm. In 2018 Wolfgang Stumph gave his first "Stubbe" encore on ZDF – at that time without his daughter with him.

The two didn't seem to have worries about returning to the set, even if there were differences of opinion: "We are a completely normal family. We hate all airs or any extra sausages. Because we both work together, of course a few more points of friction ", explains Stephanie Stumph and says that they are" very harmonious, but we can also be very spirited. " Wolfgang Stumph adds with dry humor: "I don't have much to say. At least at home."
