Woman seriously injured – hit and run after a bike accident: the police are looking for witnesses

After a 63-year-old was seriously injured in a bicycle accident in Innsbruck on Tuesday morning, the Tyrolean police are looking for the handlebars of the second bicycle. Investigators are asking the public for information.

At around 7.15 a.m., the 63-year-old local was on the Innsbrucker Herzog-Otto-Straße cycle path when she collided sideways with an unknown racing cyclist. The woman fell and suffered serious injuries. The racing cyclist accused the injured person of being responsible for the accident. He then continued his journey without disclosing his details.
