The 86-year-old German hiked from Erl to the Spitzstein (1586 m) on the Bavarian border on Thursday morning. On the descent, the serious accident happened at around 11.40 a.m. The 86-year-old lost her balance and then slipped about eight meters over partly rugged terrain. She was seriously injured. An emergency helicopter flew her to the nearby Rosenheim Clinic in Bavaria.
