A jealous 27-year-old threw Berliners at two bakery salespeople in Rhineland-Palatinate. The fresh pastries flew because she thought one of the women was her boyfriend’s lover, as the police in Kaiserslautern announced on Friday. Accordingly, he had forgotten his cell phone on the bakery counter on Thursday afternoon. When the 27-year-old tried to reach him, a strange woman answered the phone.
The later attacker assumed that her boyfriend was having an affair and that his lover answered the phone. The 27-year-old then went to the bakery, bought the fresh pastries and attacked the shop assistants with the pastries. She insulted the women and pelted them with the Berliners. Then she left the bakery.
The 27-year-old did not comment on the incident to the police. They are now being charged with suspicion of insult. Shortly before the attack, her friend had already noticed that he had forgotten his cell phone and picked it up at the bakery. (AFP)
