Born in 1986, the franchise wonder boy/Monster World was entitled to several sequels in the 80s and 90s, before making a comeback in the 2010s thanks to remakes and even a new spiritual sequel, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. But lovers of retrogaming will soon be able to find a compilation of the first parts.
ININ Games and Strictly Limited Games have just revealed Wonder Boy Collection, a compilation for PS4 and Switch of four old installments of the franchiseto know :
- wonder boy (1986);
- Wonder Boy in Monster Land (1987);
- Wonder Boy in Monster World (1991);
- Monster World IV (1994).
Players will therefore be able to discover these four platform games andA-RPGat a date still unknown, with small additions like filters and shaders options or options to skip forward/back in time and save whenever you want. There will even be a virtual gallery to admire images from the games. ININ Games will offer simple physical editions, while Bliss Brain will distribute the compilation on theeShop and the Playstation Storeand Strictly Limited Games will even sell editions Limited and collector on his shop, via the Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection.
