Wonderlands: Infinite Skeleton Keys with this glitch!

To get free loot, the developers occasionally give Shift codes that must be entered in a very specific field in the game’s social menu to retrieve skeleton keys. These famous keys allow you to open a chest within Sabot-Ardent to obtain free loot on Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The codes are unfortunately time limited and the legendary is not commonplace for everyone.

Shift and Gearbox codes

Probably because of problems related to the Shift network last night, a malfunction allowed to create a glitch that allows you to duplicate these keys which are rare commodities. However, other theories explain that this problem is recurrent on all Borderlands. This problem seems to have never been corrected whether it is Borderlands 3 or the other titles. As a result, there is very little chance of seeing this glitch corrected on this opus.

If you are not yet comfortable with how Shifts codes and skeleton keys work, here are guides that may be useful for you to get more details:

How to reproduce the skeleton keys glitch on Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

Note that this trick works on all platforms, i.e. on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. Here are all the manipulations to do so that you can collect several skeleton keys.

  • Once you have launched the game and are in the World Map (for example), you will just have to open the pause menu
  • By going to the social menu, check if you have a skeleton key that appears in your mail. At this stage, do not collect your skeleton key! Otherwise you will not be able to create the duplicate glitch.
  • So if you didn’t take the skeleton key from your mail, you will just have to cut your internet connection, quit the game and restart the game.
  • By restarting the game (while still without an internet connection), go back to your mail and you will be able to recover the skeleton key.
  • By closing the game and then restarting it, you will always find a skeleton key in your mail

→ Repeat this manipulation ad infinitum until your thirst for a skeleton key is satisfied.

Since you’ll be offline in Gearbox’s Shift servers, they won’t be able to recognize that you’ve collected the Skeleton Keys. Once you have finished your little business, all you have to do is close the game, put your Wi-Fi back on and then restart the game. In your inventory, you will be able to notice the number of skeleton keys you have stored.

As we told you just before, this problem was already present in previous Borderlandsbut hasn’t really been fixed since, since it exists on Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Remark : if you don’t have a skeleton key, you can always wait for the next Shift code drop and follow the procedure explained just before. Since the problem has never been corrected on the old chapters of the license, there is a good chance that history will repeat itself for Tiny Tina Wonderlands.
