Woody Allen: find out which French actress will be the star of her next film

11 years ago, Woody Allen had set up its cameras in the French capital to shoot Midnight in Paris. For his 50th film, the director has once again chosen the City of Light as the setting. Few details have leaked for the moment on Woody Allen’s new project whose title has not yet been chosen. The director defines it as a “poisonous romantic thriller” that he wrote two years ago, before the pandemic, as he had confided in the columns of the Parisian. Woody Allen also claimed that this film will be similar to Match Pointmade in 2005, adding that it will also be “thrilling, dramatic and very sinister.” The plot remains secret for the moment. The filming of this film, whose budget is announced at 10 million euros, should begin next month. It should take place in French, a first for the director.

Woody Allen, director absent on the set?

This is not the first time that Woody Allen has worked with French actors. He has already led Marion Cotillard, Léa Seydoux, Carla Bruni, Louis Garrelbut also Lionel Abelanski.
