Microsoft is definitely very interested in ChatGPT, since the firm also plans to integrate artificial intelligence into its office suite. After Bing, it will therefore be Word, Outlook or even PowerPoint that will benefit from this technology in various ways according to their own needs.
We haven’t finished hearing about ChatGPT. Far from being a passing fad like we see so much on the web, voices are multiplying among experts to designate artificial intelligence as a real revolution in the tech world. Its applications indeed seem endless, for better or for worse, which of course has not escaped the notice of the market giants.
Microsoft was thus the first to jump on the occasion. Last week, we learned that the Redmond firm is preparing the integration of ChatGPT with Bing for the month of March. The chatbot will help the search engine to offer better results and answers to questions users. But Microsoft does not intend to stop at this already promising novelty.
ChatGPT will soon join Microsoft 365
According to our colleagues from The Information, Bing will indeed not be the only product of the group to take advantage of the power of ChatGPT. The latter also wishes integrate AI into Microsoft 365, in order to enrich the experience on Word, Outlook and even PowerPoint. It will thus adapt to the specificities of each software to complete their own skills.

On Word, we can thus imagine automatic redaction for certain paragraphs, even entire texts. On Outlook, the AI could go even further than the automatic completion found on Gmail by direct mail by herself. ChatGPT might also provide some writing tipsin particular on the style or the syntax to be used.
It remains to be seen when this integration will take place. Unlike Bing, which already has a deadline, The Information does not venture to give a deployment schedule for Microsoft 365. We nevertheless imagine that the Redmond firm hopes to conclude the project in 2023.
