With its sustained pace of release, role-playing license Workshop has had many episodes over the past 25 years. Yes, it’s already more than a quarter of a century that we can play the apprentice alchemist on consoles and PC thanks to taste. To celebrate, the publisher Koei-Tecmo broadcast a retrospective video highlighting the various main episodes and their sagas, with as a bonus a preview of the next title which will be revealed during the Tokyo Game Show 2022.
The sequence shows us a paradisiacal zone with an island and ruins half engulfed by the crystalline waters from which magnificent corals emerge, a forest, what seems to be a city in which a tower is built surrounded by luminous halos, a basement plunged into darkness and finally strange buildings in a rocky environment, with in their center a bell overhanging an altar. All of this is quite enigmatic.
