World Car of the Year – Volkswagen ID.4: The World Car of the Year put to the test

The basic model of the VW ID.4 can be ordered from 35,610 euros, minus subsidies. In this case, its rear engine has an output of 109 kW / 148 PS and delivers 220 Nm. The battery, which stores a net 52 kilowatt hours, can be charged with up to 50 kilowatts as standard and enables a range of 345 kilometers according to WLTP.

The VW ID.4 in the video has 150 kW / 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque. The battery has a net capacity of 77 kilowatt hours. According to the WLTP, VW specifies a range of around 500 kilometers, depending on the equipment more or less.

In the meantime it has already received competition on its level: in the form of the Skoda Enyaq and the Audi Q4 e.tron.
