The footage went viral… and seen around the world. The Argentinian television channel Tyc Sport broadcast images of supporters already present in Doha and singing racist songs towards Kylian Mbappé. The sequence was quickly cut.

A racist song sung by Argentinian fans against the players of the France team and Kylian Mbappé in particular was broadcast live from Qatar on an Argentinian television channel, which interrupted the broadcast when the journalist realized the content of the lyrics .

“No, no. Censored,” said the embarrassed journalist, walking away from the group of supporters he was interviewing, in a video that quickly went viral on social networks. The song alludes in particular to the African origins of some of the French players, including Mbappé, and contains homophobic insults.

Argentina have maintained a strong rivalry with France since their elimination in the round of 16 of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, in a match won by the Blues 4-3.
