This evening, during the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, Microsoft unveiled a new trailer for World of Warcraft: The War Withinthe next expansion of the title Blizzard. A video which returns in particular to the events that occurred in the previous expansions of the game, enough to revive good memories for fans:
We had already been treated to a lot of details during the BlizzCon 2023some players are already discovering this new content thanks to the beta launched at the end of the week, but the video reveals information expected by everyone: World of Warcraft: The War Within release date is set for August 27, 2024 on PCwith early access starting August 23 for players who have purchased the edition epic Or Collector. Blizzard states:
It’s time to go home! The journey to save Azeroth from the forces of the Void begins on August 27 with the launch in France of The War Within, the first part of the ambitious World Soul saga and the game’s 10th expansion. The cinematic announcing the release date was previewed during the Xbox Showcase and can be viewed here. Players who have purchased the Epic Edition or physical Collector’s Edition will be able to jump into the game before its global launch, with early access available starting August 23.
The Warcraft franchise is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, while World of Warcraft will celebrate its 20th anniversary later this year. To celebrate the upcoming launch, the WoW team has announced a new pack, “Welcome to Azeroth,” available for a limited time. This pack invites new players and those who already know it to explore this fantastic world, and allows them to prepare to face the messenger of the Void herself: Xal’atath.
Available at the public price of €22.99, this pack includes:
- The Dragonflight expansion;
- A character boost up to level 60;
- 60 days of play time.
Players can now count down the days while waiting for the launch of World of Warcraft: The War Withinor find Battle.net prepaid cards at the house of Micromania.
