Before the release of the extension Dragonflight by the end of the year, World of Warcraft players will be able to go back in time with Wrath of the Lich King Classicin order to face the famous Lich King again Arthas Menethiliconic villain of the MMORPGs of Blizzard.
The expansion will be available at the end of next month, September 27, but Blizzard launches the pre-launch update today, to prepare well and get in the mood, with events and new features. Players can also find optional upgrades to have a character up to par:
Northrend – Heroic Upgrade
- Sesame for level 70:
- Includes expert level riding skill, mount, starter gear set, and a small amount of gold;
- Limited to one sesame per account.
- Gravel, a penguin mascot;
- Piscoglottis’ lucky bait toy, a toy to summon a rohart companion.
Northrend – Epic Upgrade
- All Heroic Upgrade items;
- Kalu’ak Whalebone Glider, a flying mount for Classic WoW characters;
- Rohart Coastal Glider, a flying mount for your characters in modern World of Warcraft;
- 30 days of game time.
In terms of events, players have an appointment throughout the month of September to already face the army of the undead of the Lich King, here are the dates:
- September 6-13: Zombie Plague Event
A mysterious evil will eat away at the capitals. Players will need to be vigilant to avoid falling victim to its deadly effects.
- September 13, launch: Scourge Invasion events
In various locations across Azeroth, players will earn powerful rewards by organizing a defense against an onslaught from a Necropolis and eliminating Scourge forces on the ground, where crystals spawn.
Finally, Blizzard publishes a first video on the construction of the world ofAzeroth with Tom Chilton, Game Director Warcraft: Arclight Rumbleand Kris Zierhut, lead game designer on Classic WoW, which return to the design of the Lich King, it is to be discovered above.
