World War Z: Aftermath, a release date for Horde XL mode and the next-gen patch

World War Z: Aftermaththe improved version of the shooting game of Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainmentis already available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but only thanks to the backward compatibility of the PS4 and Xbox One versions. The developers have been working for many months on a more qualitative update and we finally see the end of the tunnel.

Today, the studios announce that the release date of the patch next gen World War Z: Aftermath is set for January 24, 2023 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This will be an obviously free update for all owners of the base game, which will allow you to play up to 4K at 60 fps depending on the platform, and to finally discover The mode Horde XL exclusive to these machines. It will use the same rules as the mode Horde classic, but with a wave of a thousand zombies appearing during the game.

Players on PS4 and Xbox One will not be completely forgotten, everyone will be entitled to an update on January 24th adding novelties for fashion Z-Hordewith additional mutants and weapons, as well as an improved weapon progression system.
