The transaction is expected to provide Worldline with additional annual revenue of approximately €15 million in the first year and the acquired businesses are expected to post double-digit organic growth over the next few years, Worldline said in a statement. communicated. The closing of the transaction is expected in the first quarter of 2023 after obtaining the usual regulatory approvals, Worldline said.

The French group has planned to set up a business partnership aimed at leveraging Banco Desio’s banking network to distribute Worldline’s payment products and services to the bank’s merchant clients in Italy.
