In fact, the scale of the Worlds often allows it to be considered one of the biggest esports events in the world.

Logically, when ceremonies reward the best esports event, Worlds are often nominated. During the Game Awards which took place on the night of December 8 to 9, the competition was once again among the list of nominees. Even better, theevent was named best esports event of the year ahead of other pillars of esports like the Major of Antwerp on CS:GO or EVO 2022.

This is not a first for the Words since they have quite simply won this prize at every edition of the Game Awards since 2017 and the arrival of the category during the ceremony. These distinctions testify, in addition to the fans’ enthusiasm for the competition, to the longevity of this event and especially the quality of its organization, always more qualitative over the years. See you in 2023 to find out if Worlds will manage to win the day again or if other events will stand out, such as the Major of CS:GO in Paris.
