Worthy of a James Bond, one of the best spy series will make a comeback!

Seven years after the release of the first season, “The Night Manager” series starring Tom Hiddleston is set to return for two more seasons.

It is a return that we no longer expected. Seven years after its broadcast, the spy series The Night Manager, adapted from the novel by John le Carré, should return for not one, but for two seasons.

The information, awaiting confirmation, comes from the American media Deadline. The latter explains that filming could begin later this year in London and South America.

Two other good news: Tom Hiddleston, who played Jonathan Pine, should return to service, as will screenwriter David Farr, who wrote season 1.

Rumors about a season 2 have been circulating for some time now. As soon as the series was released, the BBC and the American channel AMC had started developing the next chapter, but the writers did not want to venture beyond the original book.

Rewarded by three Golden Globes, The Night Manager was one of the biggest television successes of 2016. Alongside Tom Hiddleston, we found Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, Tom Hollander or even Elizabeth Debicki.

The Night Manager is available on Prime Video.
