It takes the form of a simple instant messaging service through which users can take part in conversations with important Ledger figures. Jesus, Job (a character from the Old Testament), Ruth (an ancestor of Jesus), the apostles and many more are available.

What interest for a believer to indulge in such a practice, since the act of prayer already exists? Thus, users can ask all the questions they want, personal or theological, or receive personalized advice. The answers formulated are rather elaborate and integrate biblical verses related to the questions. The founder of Catloaf Software, a certain Peter, is not at his first attempt. Already responsible for the development of several simpler apps like Text From the Founding Fathers or Text From Oscar Wild, he wanted to go further this time. While these old applications simply offered quotes to the user without being able to interact with them, Text with Jesus is much more advanced. So Peter became interested in AI from February this year and launched his app in July.

After offering a few American pastors to try its new creation, some complained that a few answers given by the chatbot did not rely enough on the Bible or lacked holy quotes. Another feature present in the application, Chat with Satan, can possibly be activated for any user, which may not have pleased everyone. On Twitter, the reactions are very varied: at best, people find it amusing, at worst, others consider it blasphemy. Remember also that the pope himself is beginning to warn about the dangers of artificial intelligence.
