WWDC 2022: What is Apple showing?

At its developer conference, Apple regularly gives an outlook on upcoming versions of the operating systems for iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches and Macs. 2022 is no exception. In the press release, the company already announces innovations. This year it would be the turn of the versions iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9 and macOS 13. In addition to the presentation of many new functions, the announcement of the name of the new macOS version is a highlight every year. The current operating system is called macOS Monterey, named after the Monterey Bay in California.

An outlook on hardware is also not ruled out in principle. Apple has already used WWDC to introduce the HomePod, iMac Pro and Mac Pro – all three were shown at the same event. The Mac Pro should be particularly exciting. The switch to Apple’s own silicon processors is still pending for professional computers. So you can be curious. All information about the new products can be found here.
