(AOF) – X-FAB and Soitec will begin their collaboration to supply Soitec SmartSiC wafers for the production of silicon carbide power devices at X-FAB’s Lubbock, Texas facility. Soitec will offer the foundry’s customers easy access to SmartSiC through a consignment supply model. This technology “makes it possible to significantly improve the performance of power electronics devices and increase manufacturing yields.”
