Connoisseurs will have noted that the 2D animation of the original series gives way here to a more modern 3D animation, with a two-dimensional “retro” filter. If everyone will judge the quality of the rendering, on our side we are rather convinced. Above all, the musical theme by Shuki Levi and Mark Ryan is back.
Written by Beau DeMayo (Star Trek: Strange Worlds, The Witcher), this new series will be made up of ten episodes, and a season 2 is already in development.
Waiting to discover X-Men ’97 From March 20, you can rewatch all five seasons (and 76 episodes) of the original series, available on the Disney+ streaming service.
