Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès affair: his sister delivers her version of the facts on the set of Quelle époque!

Guest on the show Quelle epoch! Saturday March 9, 2024 on France 2, in order to promote her book, the sister of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, baptized Christine, delivered her own version of the facts on this affair.

Saturday March 9, 2024, Léa Salamé presented a new number of her show called Quelle époque! on France 2. Accompanied as usual by Christophe DechavannePhilippe Caverivière and Paul de Saint-Sernin, the journalist received on her set a certain Christine, who is none other than the sister of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès. The latter came to promote her book entitled Xavier, my brother, presumed innocent. As a reminder, Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès has disappeared from radar since 2011. That year, his wife and children were found dead in the garden of their family home near Nantes. During the investigation, the police gathered evidence which indicates a premeditation linked to the father of the family.

Despite this, his sister does not believe in the hypothesis of a quintuple murder committed by his brother. According to Christine Dupont de Ligonnès, this affair would in reality be a cover to allow her brother to be exfiltrated, because he was, according to her, part of the intelligence services. The sister of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès also revealed that his family had received a letter from the principal concerned on this subject. “In this letter, Xavier clearly tells me that he has been in intelligence for X years, something that I cannot verify but which speaks to me“, indicated Christine Dupont de Ligonnès in Quelle époque!.”I had questions about certain little things that were wrong. That I couldn’t explain myself. There are elements that I cannot explain in his life that this letter sheds light on.“, also added the sister of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès.

Christine Dupont de Ligonnès on her brother: “We have no reason to believe he committed suicide”

Even though the police investigation proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the bodies found in 2011 were indeed those of his brother’s wife and childrenChristine Dupont de Ligonnès affirms that it would in reality be a “staging“.”I understand that people find this far-fetched. This is a hypothesis that has been swept aside. But the arguments that people put against me don’t have that much weight“, declared the sister of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès on France 2. Christine Dupont de Ligonnès, however, does not know the whereabouts of her brother at the moment, but she nevertheless thinks that the father sought for more than 12 years is still alive. “If he says he is in the United States I think he is not there. We have no reason to believe he committed suicide“, she concluded.
