The mystery of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès continues. The man who has been wanted around the world for more than nine years has been the subject of several new revelations in recent days. In the documentary Unsolved Mysteries which is dedicated to him on Netflix, we learn that Arthur was not actually his son but that he had decided to recognize him, while in the magazine Society, published Thursday July 23, 2020, the distress of his wife, Agnès, is described at length.
Our colleagues also come back to the substantial debts of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès and his schemes to try to repay them. Thus, the man owed money to a woman with whom he had had a love affair, to his close friends, and to clear his slate, he went so far as to steal money from his father who had just died.

Society reveals that Hubert Dupont de Ligonnès died on January 20, 2011 and that the next day, Xavier had come to his home in Levallois-Perret and had withdrawn € 500 three times with his credit card. A few days later, the one who is suspected of having killed his wife, children and animals writes three checks with his father's notebook, for a total of € 6,700.
Obviously, this large sum of money was not enough to pay off the man's debts. Last detail, and not the least, it is with a weapon belonging to Hubert Dupont de Ligonnès that Agnes and her four children were shot.
