Xavier Dupont from Ligonnès in Doubs? The DNA test result is in…

New twist in the Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès (XDDL) affair. In 2011, a police investigation was opened after the bodies of Agnès Dupont de Ligonnès and her four children were discovered in Nantes, under the terrace of their family home. Since then, the father of the family, Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, who is considered the main suspect, has disappeared from the radar. After carrying out research in Italy, in Seborga, the authorities went to Montferrand-le-Château, in Doubs. The reason ? A man calling himself Jean and who would have features resembling XDDL, was seen by several witnesses, as revealed the Republican East, on April 5. The police, who had managed to recover a can used by the man in question, then carried out DNA tests. This Monday, April 15, after several days of endless waiting, the analysis results were published.

“I inform you that the analyzes carried out made it possible to extract DNA. This was compared to that of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès”declared Renaud Gaudeul, the public prosecutor of Nantes, whose comments were reported by AFP, then by Le Parisien. “The two DNA profiles do not match. The investigating magistrate and the investigation services contacted are continuing their investigations and the tedious but careful checks of all the reports received”, continued the prosecutor. For the moment, the man considered the most wanted man in France is still nowhere to be found.

Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, the new owner of his house rants: “It has been redone from A to Z!”

Since the start of the affair, XDDL’s house, located on Boulevard Robert-Schuman, in Nantes, has become an intriguing place. Unfortunately, the residence still attracts journalists, but also the most curious observers. As revealed by the new owner of the house, who moved in in 2019, some people do not hesitate to stop in front of her property to take a photo of it, or even to ring the doorbell. A situation that annoys him more and more. “I did not know him [Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, NDLR]”she had regretted to Paris Match, on Thursday April 11. And to continue: “And then, the house was redone from A to Z, it no longer has anything to do with what it was.” Because, yes, significant work has been carried out to “to erase even the memory of the quintuple murder”.
