Dune: Part Two will finally be released at the end of the month in cinemas, Denis Villeneuve’s next film is eagerly awaited by fans of the first part and Frank Herbert’s novel. Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures joined forces with Microsoft for collaboration in several stages.
The players of Microsoft Flight Simulator will be able to discover a free expansion in the world of Dune with the possibility of climbing into the royal ornithopter of Atreides and pilot it. Three learning missions will be included to take off, land and manage free fall, then six activities will be there to implement all of this, including a rescue mission. A trailer can be discovered above, the extension is already launched in MFS on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
As if that wasn’t enough, the studios designed an Xbox Series S personalized in the colors of the sun, planets and sandArrakiswhich fits into an onithopter support. A joystick Xbox is also revealed, a model flying above the sand, undoubtedly thanks to a system of magnets. A console and a controller which will not be available for sale, but to be won via a competition on X/Twitter until March 25.
