Xbox: Fable and Perfect Dark absent at the June 12 conference?

Summer Game Fest and June conference festivities officially kick off tonight (despite a busy State of Play last week), and one of the highlights of the next few days is sure to be the Xbox – Bethesda Showcase, which will even be entitled to a second part on June 14. Given that Microsoft has already unveiled a lot of games, it is expected that the conference will focus on returns, such as those of Fable Where Perfect Darkbut according to Jeff Grubbit is already necessary to make a cross on the appearance of these two projects.

Two major assets missing?

In his latest program Grubbsnax, relayed by the Vandal site, the journalist takes stock of what to expect from the conference, and what should not be hoped for anymore. He cites the case of Fable and Perfect Dark :

The two big games that I’m pretty sure won’t be there are Perfect Dark and Fable. I was able to confirm that. These games are not ready to stream, they both need more time. They could have had assets already ready, they could have shown gameplay from both games, but they have so many other things they need to show and they need to release that it looks like they’re going to leave those out games to favor others. And then next year they’ll come back with Perfect Dark or Fable. »

This obviously remains to be confirmed, but we are not really surprised by the absence of Perfect Darkwhich is experiencing a complicated development following the departure of a large part of The Initiative’s workforce, now more than supported by Crystal Dynamics.

For Fable, however, we could have believed it a little more, and if we are ever safe from a surprise, Jeff Grubb seems to confirm that the RPG will be absent subscribers. Answer this Sunday.
