Right now, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC gamers can subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass service, through three different subscriptions, to enjoy a nice library of games. Indeed, depending on the chosen platform, they can subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass PC or Xbox Game Pass console. However, this subscription cannot be shared.
Unlike the Nintendo Switch Online family subscription or even Netflix, it is impossible for an Xbox Game Pass subscriber to share their access to another player, so that the latter can take advantage of said game library. But that could change soon.
Indeed, according to journalists from Windows Central, it may well be that Microsoft is currently working on setting up a Family Membership for Xbox Game Pass : “ […] According to reliable sources familiar with Microsoft, we can now confirm that Xbox is moving forward with a family plan for its Xbox Game Pass, which could launch this year. […] “.
According to these rumors, which have not yet been refuted or confirmed, this Xbox Game Pass family subscription could allow share their account with five other player profiles, residing in the same country. The subscription would then be managed and paid for by a single account.
