Regularly, Microsoft pleases its subscribers Xbox Game Pass with new games added regularly. After a relatively shy January (apart from the surprise Hi-Fi Rush), we expected the next few weeks to be busier. And this is indeed the case since we discover the new features of the Xbox Game Pass catalog that will arrive in February 2023 and there is plenty to enjoy.
What’s new in Game Pass February 2023
If two titles have already arrived earlier in the month, namely Darkest Dungeon which arrived on February 2 on Cloud, Xbox and PC, as well as Hot Wheels Unleashed in its Game of The Year release on February 7, more titles are confirmed for the next few days. Here is the list of new features, with RPG and shooter as we like them.
February 9: Madden NFL 23 and SD Gundam Battle Alliance
This Thursday will be the opportunity to discover not one but two new games in the subscription: Madden NFL 23 And SD Gundam Battle Alliance. The first is none other than the annual iteration of the American football game and will be accessible in the PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate via eA Play. A Supercharge pack is also offered if you play it before March 9th. As for the second, it is an action RPG in the Mobile Suit Gundam universe, playable on console, cloud & PC.
February 14: Mount & Blade II Bannerlord
For Valentine’s Day, prepare to arrange seating: Mount & Blade II Bannerlord is an action RPG that serves as a prequel to Mount & Blade Warband. Playable in Game Pass PC, console and cloud, this sandbox game mixes action and strategy where you have to build your own defenses by managing diplomacy, economics and crafting.
February 15: Cities Skylines Remastered
Announced no later than this Wednesday, Cities Skylines Remastered is a remastered version for next-gen consoles. It comes out this February 15… and will arrive directly in the Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S and Cloud. As a reminder, this is a management game where you have to build and manage your own city.
February 16: Shadow Warrior 3 Definitive Edition
Almost similar scheme for Shadow Warrior 3 Definitive Edition, which is an optimized version of the action game released last year with some new content added. Wang, the protagonist, will have to sinter against many enemies through a bloody and dynamic FPS.
February 21: Atomic Heart
Finally, the last title of these selections is another day one arrival in the Game Pass: Atomic Heart is a first-person shooter that offers original game mechanics and sends us into a seductive dystopian universe. It will be playable as soon as it is released on Game Pass PC, Console and Cloud and if you want to know more, you can find our first video review after playing it for several hours.
