Riot Games and Microsoft have teamed up to bring free content to players on League of Legends, Valorant, and other games through Xbox Game Pass.

As Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its repertoire of PC games, Riot Games is finally stepping in. The developer behind League of Legends, Valorant, and other popular games has just made its partnership with Microsoft official for rewards gamers. with even more free content.

How does Riot Games’ partnership with Xbox Game Pass work?

Announced on June 12, Riot Games will offer rewards via Xbox Game Pass on all of its active games. So there are League of Legends, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics and Valorant.

The monthly subscription service will cost you around 10€/month. Once your subscription is active and your Riot Games account is linked to Xbox Game Pass, you will earn free rewards as you play.

Rewards for several games from Riot Games will be available in Xbox Game Pass, including Valorant and League of Legends.

  • League of Legends : All champions (over 160 in total) will be given to players for free, plus access to each new champion as they are released
  • Valorant: All Operators (18 total) given to players for free, plus access to each new Operator upon release
  • Teamfight Tactics: Access to certain Tier 1 Little Legends to equip in-game
  • Wild Rift: All champions (over 80 total) given to players for free, plus access to each new champion as they are released
  • Legends of Runeterra: Access to Foundation sets to help build in-game decks

When will the Riot Games x Xbox Game Pass partnership begin?

Bonus content related to Microsoft’s partnership with Riot Games will launch inwinter 2022. So you still have several months to think before potentially considering adding a new subscription to your monthly expenses.
