Xbox Games Showcase 2024: Doom, Call of Duty, Diablo 4… Microsoft is firing on all cylinders

This weekend, as part of the Summer Game Fest, numerous online conferences allowed us to discover the future games that will power players’ PCs and consoles. Microsoft was of course there with its Xbox Games Showcase. Still no new hardware (portable console, controller, etc.) on the horizon, apart from new Xbox Series A lot of games. Here is a selection of the main announcements.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Microsoft unsurprisingly opened hostilities with Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Expected on consoles and PC on October 25, this will be the first opus of Activision’s long saga to arrive day one on Game Pass.

Doom: The Dark Ages

Still in dynamic FPS, time for the next game from id Software, Doom: The Dark Ages. This prequel will be released in 2025 on Xbox consoles and PC, and will land in Game Pass upon its release.

Dragon Age: The Veilgard

While waiting for gameplay, which will be broadcast this Tuesday, June 11, here is a first preview of Dragon Age: The Veilgard (formerly named Dreadwolf). Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle

Via a long in-game cutscene, Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle showed what players can expect when it releases on PC and Xbox consoles (and Game Pass) in late 2024.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Gears of War: E-Day
