A next-gen console from just 20 euros? At GameStop you can now snag an Xbox Series S for a bargain price if you part with an old console. You can trade in old Xbox models as well as PS4 and Nintendo Switch consoles for the deal.
Just before Easter, GameStop launched a new trade-in campaign that allows you to secure an Xbox Series S at the absolute rock-bottom price can. To take advantage of the deal, all you have to do is bring your old console to one of the stores and you can snap up Microsoft’s next-gen console for a small additional fee.
Xbox Series S trade-ins at GameStop
At GameStop you can now snag an Xbox Series S for a mini premium when you trade in your old working console for it. For the Series S you can bring your Xbox One to one of the GameStop stores – but you can also make the trade with a PS4 or a Nintendo Switch. Depending on which console you bring, the respective surcharge changes, which is still to be paid. If you trade in a PS4 Pro, you can take the Series S with you for the absolute top price of only 19.99 euros. The promotion is valid until May 5th.

- PlayStation 4 (500GB) + 89.99 euros
- PlayStation 4 Pro (1TB) + 19.99 euros

- Nintendo Switch Lite + 109.99 euros
Next to the console you have to also hand in the original accessories when exchanging them – This includes, among other things, the controller, the mains cable / power supply unit and an HDMI cable. According to the campaign description, GameStop also accepts cables from third-party manufacturers. If a headset was also part of the scope of delivery at the time, you do not have to hand it in. GameStop also mentions that the consoles can also be refused in stores if they are in poor condition.
The Xbox Series S was originally offered in retail for 299.99 euros – currently the console is sometimes available from 270 euros. So if you are upgrading your old Xbox to a newer version, want to get a second console or possibly a used PS4 or Nintendo Switch have lying around at home that are just gathering dust anyway, then the GameStop deal offers you a great exchange opportunity – and you can save well over 200 euros with the campaign.
