Xbox Series X and S: Microsoft announces three new consoles, the official digital Series

During its Xbox Games Showcase 2024, Microsoft obviously talked a lot about video games, revealing some very nice trailers and making certain already highly anticipated titles official. But the manufacturer took advantage of its summer conference to make another announcement, concerning consoles.

Eh yes, Microsoft just announced three new Xbox Series X|S home consoles this evening. The manufacturer improves its Xbox Series X with a large 2TB SSD and a special edition coating Galaxy Black Of the nicest effect. Enough to double the storage capacity, ideal for players finding the basic version too limited with its 1 TB SSD, but it will cost you €649.99.

The big news (even though it was leaked a few weeks ago) is the brand new 100% digital Xbox Series Robot White and a 1TB SSD. The console therefore no longer has a disc reader, but it is still capable of displaying a 4K image at up to 120 fps with DirectX ray tracing on compatible games. An “all-digital” console which will cost €499.99 all the same. It’s only €50 less than the classic version in its recommended retail price, which is often on sale.
