The News Feed will soon be redesigned in the Xbox app. Stories will allow you to show off your talents and see what your friends are up to. You can share your favorite moments with your friends and the Xbox community via video clips, screenshots and your Achievements. You will also be able to reply to your friends’ stories with a message or a quick reaction.

Stories will be located on the right side of the Xbox app home screen. To create a story, tap the + button on your Gamertag from the stories section and then select the video clip, screenshot or Achievement you want to post. You will then be redirected to a pre-publication page where you can choose to add a comment, then you can publish using the button located at the bottom right. The stories section will display content from the past 72 hours and anything you share will also be posted to your profile news feed.

Prioritize Your Console Gaming Experience with Quality of Service Marking

The Quality of Service system allows you to prioritize your console’s online behavior for latency-sensitive items like party chat, streaming from your console, and multiplayer (for supported games). This will help protect your gaming experience from issues caused by traffic jams, on compatible networks.

In the settings, go to General, Network Settings, Advanced Settings and you will see a new option appear. Inside it, you will be offered two different options, DSCP Tagging and WMM Tagging.
