Xbox UPDATE: Secret Achievements are (almost) over with June 2022 firmware

After integrating a system of stories to its application and a tool to limit online latencies on consoles in the ecosystem of its Xbox in May, Microsoft has new things to bring to the parlor machines with a new firmware. Finally, rather only one, because the June 2022 update available now only brings a unique innovation.

It allows something playstation also introduced late for its Trophies : the possibility of disclosing all or part of the information on the Hit secrets. The idea is therefore to allow players who are stuck or curious to obtain all the details they want to know for their hunt for Hit without wasting time consulting online guides. What will revolutionize your life as a hunter?

The Xbox team is excited to continue to introduce new ways to improve the Xbox experience, with you at the center of decisions, refining it and bringing you new features based on your feedback. The June System Update lets you reveal the details of Secret Achievements. You will also find improvements regarding updates, both in your library and when you launch a game.

Secret Achievements

Starting in June, you can choose to reveal secret Achievements.

If you’re not afraid of spoilers and want a clue about any Achievement in the titles you’re playing, you can easily reveal the details of a secret Achievement on your Xbox. Once a game is launched, open the Guide and go to Activity > Achievements. When you see a Secret Achievement, you can reveal details about it, such as its name, description, and G number value. After that, you can hide those details again or leave them on display. You’ll be able to reveal these Secret Achievements from anywhere: Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, the Xbox app on Android and iOS, the Xbox app on Windows PC, and your PC’s Game Bar.

If you haven’t gone to the next genyou can afford an Xbox Series S from €299.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
