Good news never comes alone, the publisher has also released a new trailer, which always offers more details on this new adventure and its game system, in the wake of the Nintendo Direct in February. Around the central theme which is simply “life”, players will follow the itinerary of Noah and Mio, immersed in the middle of a conflict between the lands of Keves and Agnus. Six characters from these nations will join forces to bring out the truth, all embarked in the direction of Swordsmarch, a land pierced by a giant sword, which will not surprise anyone in a series renowned for its gigantism.
First consequence of this plethoric cast, it will be possible to fight up to seven, without the slightest transition with the exploration itself: the players will thus be able to control the six members of the group, as well as other characters encountered during the game. adventure, each having a specific role to take on to give the clashes a semblance of strategy. Class changes are also to be expected: Noah is a sword fighter, specializing in close-range attacks, while Mio is a Zephyr, drawing the enemy’s attention while dodging their strikes. Thus, each character can juggle among several classes, with its own strengths; it’s up to the player to compensate for the weaknesses by personalizing the different roles within the team.
Finally, the Interlink system will allow you to team up in pairs – Noah and Mio, Lanz and Sena, Eunie and Taion – to shapeshift into Ouroboros, a powerful form that has its own even more powerful attacks. Naturally, it will be necessary to engage this transformation wisely to take a decisive advantage in combat.
While revealing the new release date, Nintendo also lifted the veil on the future Collector’s Edition which will be offered exclusively on the Nintendo Store – with a dust jacket illustrated by Masatsugu Saito, a 250-page artbook and a steel book bonus.
