As expected, it is this Tuesday, December 28, from 12:30 p.m., that Xiaomi will present for the very first time its new range of high-end smartphones. The manufacturer is organizing a conference in Beijing to unveil its new products.

True to form, the firm should first present its new products to its local market, China, and will therefore hold the conference in Chinese. The global launch should take place in the following weeks. It is also potentially during this global launch that Xiaomi will unveil a new version of its Xiaomi 12, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

At least five announcements expected

For the moment, only two smartphones are expected this Tuesday for the Chinese conference: the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. That doesn’t mean, however, that the two devices will be the only ones to be unveiled. Xiaomi is therefore expected to unveil at least one new connected watch, the Xiaomi Watch S1, but also a new pair of wireless headphones, the Xiaomi True Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones 3. A new version of the Xiaomi Pad tablet 5 Pro is also in the pipeline as revealed by the manufacturer on the Weibo social network. It should benefit from extended storage and a new keyboard.

Above all, the event should be an opportunity, as at the end of the year, to discover the next major update of the MIUI interface equipping the brand’s smartphones and tablets. It should be MIUI 13, based on Android 12 and which we will find not only on the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro, but also, thanks to an update, on some previous devices of the manufacturer.

A conference to follow in Chinese on Bilibili

To follow the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro launch conference, just go to the Xiaomi page of the Chinese streaming site Bilibili. The conference will begin this Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Be careful, however, it will be presented entirely in Mandarin Chinese, without French or English dubbing or subtitles. This should however be enough for the most determined to discover the tables of characteristics of the different devices once presented as well as the design of the products.
