We can’t stop Xiaomi anymore. After the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12Xthe third manufacturer of smartphones in the world will soon unveil its Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G.
A phone which, we give you a thousand, will take over from the excellent Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G, which particularly convinced us last year.
Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G: the technical sheet
Pending official information from Xiaomi, we must rely on the usual informants. This time it’s Yogesh Brar who steps up to tell us everything we need to know about the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G.
Like the Xiaomi 12 and 12X, it will be a phone with rather compact measurements. It will be equipped with a 6.55 “AMOLED screen offering FHD + definition and a frequency of 120 Hz.
Under the hood we will find a Snapdragon 778, 5G compatible, as well as 6 to 8 GB of RAM and 128 to 256 GB of internal storage. As with its predecessor, it will not be possible to add an SD card to increase storage.
For the photo, the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will count on a 64 megapixel wide-angle, an 8 megapixel ultrawide and a 5 megapixel macro module. A priori, the main sensor will be stabilized (OIS). On the front, a 16MP camera will shoot your portrait.
Finally, the battery would have a capacity of 4,500 mAh, and would be rechargeable at 67 W wired. Like the Xiaomi 12X, to put it another way.
The phone should not offer a jack, but will have two speakers. It will come with Android 12 as standard.
Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G: price and availability
The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G has not yet been made official by the manufacturer. But according to its habits, it will be launched first in the countries of Asia before joining, very gradually, the European stalls.
In all likelihood, this new smartphone will be the most accessible of Xiaomi’s new range, which currently includes the Xiaomi 12X (from 799 €), the Xiaomi 12 (899 €) and the Xiaomi 12 Pro (1099 €) .
For comparison, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G was marketed at the end of April 2021 in France from €399.
