The Xiaomi 12 is also set to be launched globally soon. However, Xiaomi has not yet announced a presentation date. As fans’ expectations are high, more and more rumors are circulating on the internet. Official documents now at least make it clear that the preparations for the release are progressing.
As the blog MySmartPrice reports, the Federal Communication Commission (FCC), the control and approval authority for all communication media in the USA, has classified the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro as harmless. This clears another hurdle for publication.
Key data and radio standards
Additional information is included in the documents. Because the FCC has noted which models have been tested. Accordingly, it is the standard version with 8 gigabytes (GB) of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of device memory. A version with 12 GB and 256 GB is also mentioned.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro, on the other hand, is documented with two versions. Once with 8 GB and 128 GB as well as 12 GB and 256 GB. Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro are both equipped with 5G and compatible up to Wi-Fi 6. In addition, MIUI 13 is specified as the operating system in the documents for both models.
