Xiaomi 13 Pro: The top smartphone should have these specifications

Xiaomi is currently fine-tuning the Xiaomi 13 and will launch the new generation of smartphones on the Chinese market later this year. An exact date is not yet known, but some expect the release as early as November. The global release usually takes place two to three months later.

What can the new Xiaomi 13 do?

But the mostly reliable leaker Yogesh Brar on Twitter is already giving us an overview of the most important specifications of the Pro version of the cell phone.

According to him, the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s AMOELD display will be 6.7 inches. In addition, the panel is said to be based on LTPO technology, which in principle is also a guarantee for 120 Hertz.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will be responsible for the performance, which is also rumored to appear in the coming weeks. Exactly how good this will be is not yet clear, but it could well be the most powerful cell phone processor on the market to date. This is then supported by 8 or 12 gigabytes of RAM, depending on which variant you choose when purchasing.

According to Yogesh Brar, the camera should consist of a triple camera setup in which the Sony IMX989 acts as the main sensor. This has 50 megapixels and is supported by an ultra wide-angle sensor and a telephoto sensor, each with 50 megapixels. How good the photos really are, however, will probably only be seen in the live test.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro will come out of the box with MIUI 14 based on Android 13. However, it is currently unclear whether there will be some exclusive software features for the Xiaomi 13 series. The battery of the Pro variant should have a capacity of 4,800 mAh and can be charged with up to 120 watts. You can choose between 128, 256 and 512 gigabytes of storage space.
