Xiaomi will release a new line of tablets under the Redmi branding. This is indicated by official certification.

Xiaomi is expected to introduce the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet in the next few weeks. We now learn from a certification from the US communications authority FCC that the manufacturer is apparently also working on a completely new tablet series.
This was made clear by documents shared on Twitter by tech blogger Simranpal Singh. They include official approval for a tablet under the Redmi label. A few technical data are also included. The tablet is said to be equipped with a 7,800 mAh battery and appear with MIUI 13.
Xiaomi offers cheaper mid-range devices with a good price-performance ratio under the Redmi label. This could mean an attack on the mid-range tablets from Lenovo and Samsung. It is not yet known when the tablet will appear.
