Xiaomi formalizes its new electric scooter, the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra


On the sidelines of MWC 2023 in Barcelona, ​​Xiaomi announced new products: the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro and the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra.

The MWC 2023 begins and Xiaomi hits hard with the presentation of a new model of electric scooter: the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra. This is the first of the brand equipped with a double suspension system, for a “smooth ride and safe, even on difficult terrain”. The vehicle also features wider 10-inch Xiaomi DuraGel tires that are puncture-proof and self-sealing to reduce the risk of tire blowouts.

Xiaomi announces a speed of up to 25 km/h (the regulatory maximum), the ability to climb slopes with an inclination of up to 25%, a motor with a maximum power of up to 940W and a long autonomy of up to at 70 km. The manufacturer also promises a new S+ mode offering “a smooth and pleasant acceleration”. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is IP55 certified, supports a maximum load of 120 kg and offers an 880 cm² platform as well as an enlarged 490 mm handlebar. It will be available from April 20, 2023 for the price of 999 euros.

The Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro wireless headphones are also in the game. They benefit from Sony’s LDAC technology, which allows:

The Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro also benefit from active noise reduction with a depth of up to 48dB to properly isolate the user from his environment. The manufacturer mentions an autonomy of up to 9 hours on a single charge and up to 38 hours with the charging case, compatible with wireless charging. Their release is scheduled for March 8, 2023 in Star Gold and Space Black colors at a price of 249.99 euros.

Let’s finish with the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro connected watch, equipped with a 1.47” AMOLED screen, a rotating crown for navigation and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The brand communicates on the absence of lag in the reception of notifications between devices, on the availability of 10 training programs and on the wealth of training data and health monitoring functions, between calories burned , exercise intensity, sleep monitoring, heart rate and SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation) tracking. Autonomy is announced at 14 days and the smartwatch comes with a wireless charging station capable of charging the device to 100% in 85 minutes. The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro will be on sale from March 8, 2023 at 299.99 euros.
