Xiaomi G10 vs Kärcher VC 6 Cordless OurFamily: lacking suction?

Xiaomi and Kärcher are two opposing philosophies. German pragmatism against Chinese fantasy, the two vacuum cleaners have serious arguments to make for cleaning its interior with a mid-range device.

From the outset, we recognize the models, the German device opting for a black and yellow design typical of the brand when Xiaomi prefers a more sober dress made of white and orange. While Kärcher offers the minimum, Xiaomi attacks in force with a richer supply of accessories, including in particular a mop. The Chinese brand drives the point home with a full color screen and four power modes (Eco, Standard, High Power and Smart Torque), all adapted according to the surface compared to only two for the VC 6 Cordless.

On the aspiration side, we are dealing with two excellent students in the discipline. During its visit to our laboratories, the Xiaomi G10 performed almost flawlessly, while the Kärcher VC 6 Cordless showed very good performance on thick carpet. A round however won by Xiaomi which remains a bit better and which relies on its multicyclonic filtration ensuring less maintenance.

A true marathon runner, the Kärcher broom vacuum cleaner is well ahead of its Chinese opponent. More durable and faster to recharge, the VC 6 Cordless leaves only crumbs. Not to spoil anything, it is also much quieter than the Xiaomi, even in Boost mode, which must bow to the yellow broom.

Difficult to decide between the competitors of the day. On the one hand, an over-equipped, modern and powerful Xiaomi G10; on the other, a Kärcher also very efficient which largely outclasses its opponent on autonomy and noise pollution. Under these conditions, it is difficult not to win the Kärcher VC 6 Cordless, which is more pragmatic and suitable for daily use. There remains the question of the tariff which could still tip the scales in favor of the Chinese.
