Xiaomi has built a clever option into the Mi Band 6. You can find your misplaced cell phone with a beep. We’ll show you how to locate your smartphone using a bracelet.

  • You can find the “Locate cell phone” function on the Mi Band 6 under the “More” menu item.
  • It only works if your smartphone is connected to the fitness tracker via Bluetooth.
  • If you activate the function, your smartphone will make a shrill sound so that you can find it more easily.

Can’t find your smartphone? Then the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 on your wrist can help. The fitness tracker has a function on board that should help you locate your lost cell phone.

First of all: You can only locate your cell phone with the Mi Band 6 if the two devices are within Bluetooth range – i.e. around 50 meters away. If your smartphone is not connected to the Mi Band 6, it cannot be located.

In the following we will show you where you can find the “Locate your phone” function on the Mi Band 6.

Scroll the screen up until you see the “More” menu item.

Tap on the “More” menu item.

In this menu, select “Locate cell phone”.

Finished! Your smartphone will now make a shrill sound. Once you’ve found the device, you can mute the sound right on the fitness tracker by tapping the mute icon at the bottom.
