The Xiaomi Pad 5 hasn’t been on the market that long before the successor is announced. Only recently it became known that Xiaomi is working on a new generation, which is already being tested internally in Europe. So that means that we will also get the new tablet. There will be a Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro again. The normal model should get the Snapdragon 870 instead of the Snapdragon 860. However, it should remain the case that the display has a 2.5k resolution and supports 120 Hz. The display should therefore remain at a very high level and the performance should increase somewhat. With the Xiaomi Pad 6, the Snapdragon 870 replaced by a Snapdragon 888. So that promises a much higher performance there. All processors are not state-of-the-art, but still okay if the price stays low enough.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro should also a bigger screen and a new design come into use. The Xiaomi Pad 5 measures 11 inches. So it’s quite possible that Xiaomi wants to push into the 12- to 13-inch tablet region here, which Samsung and Apple also cover.
