Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 range comes in many references, including a Redmi Note 11s and a Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. We have tested them and help you see more clearly among these affordable smartphones, and sometimes very similar.
Xiaomi’s habits will not have escaped your notice. The Chinese brand, number 3 worldwide, multiplies the references to better occupy the market, whatever the price range of interest to the consumer. Among these smartphones, we find the Redmi, a stamp designed as a brand in its own right, whose new batch includes many models. Redmi Note 11 (from €199.90), Redmi Note 11s (€279.90) and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (€369.90) have thus passed through our laboratories. Since they are sold at particularly close prices and offer technical sheets in which it is difficult to find one’s way, we suggest that you take stock of the qualities and defects of each, in order to help you make the best choice.
If you have been following the news, you will have noticed that Xiaomi has announced two other terminals to complete this trio: the Redmi Note 11s 5G and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. We will of course complete this file as soon as we have tested these devices. To see more clearly, find the complete technical sheets of these products below:

Ergonomics: 5G requires, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G wins the point
The Redmi Note 11 more or less share a common ergonomics. This is necessarily the case with Note 11 and Note 11s, which are based on the same case weighing 179 grams, each presenting a screen occupying 84.5% of its facade. Also to their credit, the integration of a 3.5 mm jack, that of a microSD card carriage, a fingerprint reader located on their edge and an IP53 certification. Attention, it means that the dust does not scare them and that they are resistant to splashes, but not that they can be submerged. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, which also has these features, is the only one to offer 5G support, making it a model of choice for those looking for a device that makes the most of mobile networks. However, it is a little bigger and heavier, with its 202 grams on the scale.

Screen: the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G in front, thanks to 120 Hz
Redmi Note 11 | Redmi Note 11s | Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G | |
---|---|---|---|
Maximum brightness | 725 cd/m² | 768 cd/m² | 820 cd/m² |
Minimum brightness | 1.9 cd/m² | 2.2 cd/m² | 2.5 cd/m² |
DeltaE | 1.3 | 1.4 | 1.5 |
Color temperature | 6720K | 6769K | 6707K |
As you will have understood, the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11s share almost all their elements, and this goes for their 6.43-inch displays. Like the Pro model, they offer an Amoled panel, but deviate from it with their 90 Hz refresh rate (non-adaptive), when the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G goes up to 120 Hz (and benefits from a 6.67 inches). Apart from this detail, these three smartphones provide a satisfactory display, the 11 and 11s managing to exceed 700 cd / m², and the 11 Pro 5G reaching 820 cd / m². We also note a satisfactory colorimetry, with the possibility, with a small adjustment in the parameters of the three devices, to obtain a color temperature of around 6700 K and a deltaE between 1.3 and 1.5, indicating very low color drifts. In short, unless you absolutely stick to the 120 Hz refresh rate, there is no need to turn to the most expensive of these Redmi.

Performance: the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G wins
If there is a notable difference between the three Redmi Note 11, it is the chipset that drives them. The Redmi Note 11 relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, the Redmi Note 11s on a MediaTek Helio G96 and the Redmi Note 11 Pro on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 (with 5G modem). It is clear that all of them provide a fairly similar experience in the multitasking department and are comfortable to use on a daily basis. They stand out in the gaming field, the model 11 doing very well, with its ability to display an average of 46 fps, well above the 33 fps of the Note 11s. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G does a little better (57 fps on average), in fact, but at a much higher price: it is therefore a question of priorities.
Photo: almost perfect equality between the three Redmi
The Redmi Note 11, all references combined, are not distinguished photographers. They are certainly doing very well, but there is no need to turn to the most expensive of the range to benefit from the best results. With its 50-megapixel main sensor (f / 1.8 wide-angle optics), the Redmi Note 11 also produces the most usable shots, mainly when the light is there, it must be admitted. Despite its 108-megapixel main sensor, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G does no better.

Autonomy: advantage to the Redmi Note 11
All Redmi Note 11 series smartphones are equipped with 5000 mAh batteries, but the fastest charge (67 W) remains reserved for the Pro model, the 11 and 11S being “content” with 33 W chargers. autonomy, it is clear that the Redmi Note 11 is the most convincing, having been able to endure 21 h 44 min of use with our Aim protocol. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is not to be outdone, with its 19 h 50 min, and even the Redmi Note 11s (17 h 10 min) is one of the good students of the moment.
