A range of smartphones less expensive than the brand’s encrypted models – such as the Xiaomi 12 and the recent 12T Pro — and including many models. In the meantime, Xiaomi delivers some information about upcoming smartphones. The brand essentially shows its Redmi Note 12 Pro model, which it confirms will be equipped with a Sony IMX766 main sensor (1 / 1.56 inch), 50 megapixels therefore, associated with an optical stabilization system. If there is no question here of the partnership forged between Xiaomi and Leica, reserved for the manufacturer’s premium terminals, the firm evokes an in-house image processing system, improved for the occasion, and focused in particular on noise reduction in low light. However, rumor has it that a more upscale version of the Redmi Note 12, nicknamed Extreme Edition, will benefit from a 200-megapixel main sensor, like the Xiaomi 12T Pro.
Xiaomi expands on other features of the Redmi Note 12 Pro. The firm indicates that it will be equipped with a MediaTek 1080 chip including a 5G modem, which suggests that the range will be fully compatible with this network.
Finally, we note that Xiaomi mentions other characteristics, without specifying whether they concern only one or all versions of its Redmi Note 12: it is therefore a question of a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz and fast charging. up to 210 W.
