Xiaomi releases a legion of robot vacuum cleaners on Europe at a formidable price

Xiaomi seems to want to fill the gaps in its offer of robot vacuum cleaners and draws no less than four new references ranging from 199 euros to 499 euros. Here are the new products that will be able to take care of your floors!

Xiaomi is present in all connected home sectors, but it remains a discreet player in the robot vacuum market. The manufacturer plans to bring four new models to market in the coming months, which should meet all needs, in all price ranges, without compromising performance. Xiaomi goes so far as to promise a complete mapping of a 100 m² home in a maximum of 10 minutes… The type of promises that we wait to see fulfilled before we believe them… Here we present to you, from the most accessible to the most expensive, the new members of the Xiaomi Vacuum family!

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E12

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E12 is an entry-level model that aims to be the best compromise between suction, wet floor cleaning, performance and price. It is a round and white model 35 cm in diameter and 8 cm in height, a finesse allowing it to slip under much more furniture than the average.

There’s no laser rangefinder here, just navigation and mapping done from a gyroscope and various other sensors. Xiaomi highlights a suction power of 4000 Pa and a passive wet floor cleaning system (no vibration technology) with a 400 ml tank. A complete product which, on paper, promises up to 110 minutes of autonomy.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E12 is available at a price of 199.99 euros, with an introductory offer at 179.99 euros from May 22 to 28.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10+

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10+ is a fairly standard vacuum and floor mopping robot, with a nice round design (35 cm in diameter, 9 cm high) and in white plastic. Of course, we have a laser rangefinder associated with 3D obstacle detection technology. Xiaomi announces a suction power of 4000 Pa.

It obviously washes the floors, but differs from its little comrades of the same brand by the presence of two rotating pads. A system that replaces the vibration mop usually offered by Xiaomi and that often offers much better results as you can see in our various robot vacuum cleaner tests.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10+ is available at a price of 449.99 euros and benefits from an introductory offer of 399.99 euros from May 22 to 28.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S12

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S12 is the boosted version of E12 with almost identical design, similar diameter of 35cm, but higher thickness of 9.45cm. We find the same level of suction power of 4000 Pa, the same wet floor cleaning technology and the same 400 ml tank.

The main difference is the presence of a laser rangefinder and this will change everything in terms of mapping and obstacle detection. In addition, it allows itself to offer an autonomy of 130 minutes against 110 for the E12.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S12 is available at a price of 299.99 euros, with an introductory offer at 269.99 euros from May 22 to 28.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X10

Last year, Xiaomi launched the X10+, a floor-mop vacuum cleaner with a self-cleaning base. A direct competitor to the Dreame LS10+ and which was not distributed as well as it should have been. The X10 is the model a step below the X10+, the main difference being the lack of a mop cleaning function and a water tank filling function.

For the rest, therefore, we have a robot vacuum cleaner with wet floor cleaning via a mop. The advertised suction power is 4,000 PA and the battery life is 180 minutes! It comes with a charging base, which automatically empties the robot’s dust container capable of storing the equivalent of 60 cleaning cycles. A complete product and which, as often with Xiaomi, is positioned aggressively with a price of 499 euros. It benefits from an introductory offer of 449.99 euros from May 22 to 28.

Xiaomi seems determined to take care of our case, at least the floors of our homes. We regret, however, that the wet cleaning technology of the vibration floor is absent from these products. A promising family that will soon be tested on Frandroid.
